Robert H. Berard, Sr.

Mansfield, MA – Robert H. Berard, Sr., 89, formerly of South Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Lois A. (Merow) Berard, who passed away in 1985. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Leo and Doris (Leveille) Berard.  Bob was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War and went on to a career as a maintenance engineer at Texnor Apex in Hebronville, for over forty years until his retirement, and was a longtime member of the South Attleboro Knights of Columbus, Council 5876.  In his free time Bob enjoyed traveling and cruising, cooking and entertaining his family and many friends.  Above all, he was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past eighty-nine years.  Bob leaves three children, Robin Petrarca and her husband, James, of Pawtucket, Ronald Berard and his wife, Beverly, of Johnston, and...
