Rita M. Vincelette

Woonsocket – Rita M. (Cook) Vincelette, 88, formerly of Seekonk, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand A. Vincelette. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Concord (Robideaux) Cook. Rita was a homemaker and a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing cloths for family and friends. She would also participate in the Pawtucket Arts Festival where she would sell many of the beautiful arts & crafts that she, herself would fashion. Above all, Rita enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends. She will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past 88 years. Rita leaves three children, Gordon Vincelette of Cumberland, Robin Yerrington in South Carolina and Tobie Wood of Smithfield; two grandchildren, Jesse Rousseau in South Carolina and Joshua Wood of Smithfield; a brother, John Cook of Taunton, MA; two sisters, Marion Dube of East Providence and Stella Drolet of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews.
