Rita R. Serafin

Pawtucket – Rita R. (Walsh) Serafin, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Serafin. A lifelong Pawtucket resident, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Bridget (Higgins) Walsh. She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her friends and family. Rita leaves her two children, Judy A. DeRosa wife of the late Vincent DeRosa of Pawtucket and Michael J. Serafin and his wife, Pam of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; four grandchildren, Vincent M. DeRosa, Kerri A. Frausto, Michael J. and Marc J. Serafin; six great-grandchildren, Brianna and Michael Serafin, Cheyenne and Sierra Frausto, Emily and Connor Serafin; one brother, Edward Walsh in Florida and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary DeStefano, Patricia Briggs, Sally McGuire, Peggy Campbell, Jimmy and Raymond Walsh.
