Rita D. Palardy

Coventry - Rita Delima (Poulin) Palardy, 93, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Lucien E. Palardy. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Olivier and Albertine (Lapointe) Poulin.

Rita worked as a payroll clerk for Hasbro Inc. in Pawtucket and was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, visits to the casino and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved children: Susan Drouin (Raymond) of Mattapoisett, MA, Cynthia Coulombe (Alfred) of Coventry, Lynne Caliri (John) of Smithfield, Alan Palardy (Jennifer) of St. Thomas, Donald Palardy (Renee) of Rehoboth, MA, John Palardy of Smithfield, and Tracey Smith (Peter) of Woonsocket; sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her sister, Dolores Blais of Swansea, MA.

She was predeceased by her daughter Carol Campbell, grandson, Thomas Campbell, and brothers, Armand Poulin, Raymond Poulin, and Roland Poulin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00AM at St. Cecilia Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.

VISITATION will be held prior to the Mass from 8:00 AM-9:15 AM at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket.
