Seekonk, MA - Rita M. (Lebeuf) Muldoon-Tranter, 86, of Sebago, Maine and Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of the late Roy Muldoon, Sr. and the late Charles Tranter.
Born in Pawtucket, Rita was a daughter of the late Hector and Hectorine (Dextradeur) Lebeuf.
Rita worked for many years as the bookkeeper for Leedham’s Hardware in South Attleboro, Stateline Scrap in South Attleboro, and J.E.
Case, Inc. in North Attleboro for many years until her retirement.
She was an avid golfer and was a former member of the Quail Run Golf Course in Naples, Florida.
Rita also had a very creative side and was a talented artist and seamstress.
Above all, Rita was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past eighty-six years.
Rita is survived by two children, Roy “Scott” E.
Muldoon, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Seekonk, and Kelley A.
Muldoon-Keith of Rehoboth; two grandchildren, Olivia and Luke Muldoon both of Seekonk; two siblings, Pearl Case of Attleboro and Florida, and Richard Lebeuf and his wife, Margaret, of Corryton, Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister-in-law of the late John Case.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.
Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro.
Interment at Newell Burying Ground in South Attleboro will be private.
VISITATION will be held on Friday, December 13th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 would be appreciated.
