Rita M. Mooney-Erhardt

Seekonk – Rita M. (Gagnon) Mooney-Erhardt, 99, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late M. Neal Mooney and the late Dr. John G. Erhardt. Born in Central Falls, she was the youngest of ten children of the late Alfred T. and Exelia (Laliberte) Gagnon. A faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Seekonk, Rita devoted her time as a volunteer at the former Memorial Hospital for over twenty years. She enjoyed traveling, dancing and spending time with her family She is survived by a son, Robert M. Mooney and his wife, Kathleen, of Lincoln; a daughter, Patricia A. Horton of Taunton, MA; a grandson, Scott David Horton; a great-grandson, Scott Michael Horton and a great-granddaughter, Maggie Horton. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Seekonk, followed by interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private.
