Rita A. Maloney

Pawtucket – Rita A. (Arnold) Maloney, 95, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.  She was the wife of the late Earl J. Maloney, Sr.  Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (Griffin) Arnold. Rita worked as a waitress for the former Beef Hearth, Pawtucket, for thirty-two years.  She dedicated her life to taking care of her five boys and her husband.  She is survived by five sons, Patrick E. Maloney and his wife, Mary Lou, of Florida, Russell T. Maloney and his wife, Gail, of Pawtucket, Earl J. Maloney, Jr. of Pawtucket, Timothy M. and Brian M. Maloney, both of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren and eight grandchildren. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Cheetham Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.  Interment with her late husband will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.  CheethamFuneralHome.com
