Rita M. Leblond

Pawtucket – Rita M. (Glode) LeBlond, 79, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017.

She was the beloved wife of Henri E.

LeBlond for fifty-two years.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Augustine (Langlois) Glode.

Rita had been a teacher’s aide at Our Lady of Consolation School; lunch aide at Tolman High School and a clerk at Sears.

A devout Catholic, she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Cenacle and the Prayer Line at St.

Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, South Attleboro.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Ted LeBlond of Providence and Alain LeBlond of Pawtucket; three grandchildren, Hunter, Nathan and Brittany LeBlond and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Raymond Glode, Sr. and Doris Brunelle.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, South Attleboro.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m.
