Richard P. Ryan

Providence – Richard P.

Ryan, 73, a retired accountant, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Stephen J.

Ryan Sr., MD and Mildred E. (Farrer) Ryan, he resided in Providence for over fifty years.

Rich was a Vietnam Era U.S.

Navy veteran and a graduate of Boston College.

He leaves two brothers, Robert F.

Ryan and his wife, Ellen, of Newton, Massachusetts and John D.

Ryan and his wife, Elaine, of Pawtucket; his sister-in-law, Anne C.

Ryan of San Marino, California; three nephews, Robert Ryan, Matthew Gaudette and Dennis Ryan; three nieces, Patricia Ryan, Sarah Aliberti and Tara Ryan and several cherished cousins.

He was the brother of the late Stephen J.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 211 Sabin St., Pawtucket.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at St.

Francis Cemetery, Smithfield Ave., Pawtucket.

Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
