Pawtucket – Richard “Rick” Jean, 71, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Donna L. (Winward) Jean for forty-six years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Alfred, Sr., and Edith (Alger) Jean. Rick worked as a machine operator at the former NEPTCO, Inc., Pawtucket, for nearly thirty years prior to semi-retiring. He concluded his career at Stop & Shop, Cumberland, where he worked as a porter and looked forward to his daily, morning shift. Rick was a lifetime resident of Pawtucket and was a communicant of both, St. Joseph Church and St. Teresa Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and coaching youth sports throughout the community.
