Pawtucket – Richard E.
Messier, 65, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of Denise Y. (Beaulieu) Messier for 32 years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Emile H. and Rita B. (Beaudry) Messier.
Richard was a Vietnam War U.S.
He was employed by Crellin Handling Equipment, East Providence for over forty years until retiring as Senior Service Technician in 2013.
Richard was an active member of the Church of the Epiphany where he served as Head of Buildings and Grounds; an usher and coffee hour attendant.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed Classic Cars.
Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Jeanne R.
Bedard of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Hope Messier.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Requiem Eucharist at 9 a.m. in the Church of the Epiphany, 1336 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m.
