Warwick - Richard A. Lanoie, 83, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (McGill) Lanoie, who passed in 2024, they were married for sixty years. Born in Attleboro, Richard made his home in Pawtucket most of his life until recently residing with his daughter in Warwick.
Richard was a United States Army veteran serving in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment while stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Era and went on to a career at Paramount Cards for many years until his retirement. In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, camping and boating. Richard found great joy in life's simple pleasures and spending time with family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past eighty-three years.
Richard leaves three children, Michael D. Lanoie of Central Falls, Mark A. Lanoie and his wife, Helen I., of Greenville, and Melissa R. Lanoie of Warwick; four grandchildren, Michael T. Lanoie of Pawtucket, Patrick D. Lanoie and his wife, Jennifer, of Johnston, Molly C. Lanoie and Hannah R. Lanoie both of Greenville, and one great-granddaughter expected this coming July.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours to be held on Tuesday, April 7th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
