Richard W. Doiron

Pawtucket - Richard W. Doiron, Sr., 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Glender C. (Burdick) Doiron. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Roger Doiron and Palma (Caro) DeStefanis. Richard was a US Army, Vietnam War veteran. He had worked for the City of Pawtucket prior to working as a mosquito control specialist for the State of Florida. He leaves two sons and a daughter, Richard W. Doiron, Jr. of Albany, NY, Christopher L. Doiron of Baltimore, MD, and Darlene M. Capuano of Pawtucket, two grandchildren, Russell E. and Benjamin M. Doiron both of Pawtucket. He was the brother of Robert Doiron and the late Anita Teer. He also leaves his companion Linda Flanagan. His funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907 will be appreciated.
