Brousseau, 67, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

He was the beloved husband of Georgette R.

Dupuis-Brousseau, to whom he was married for thirty-one years.

Richard was born in 1955 to the late C.

Normand and Simonne (Fredette) Brousseau in Central Falls, RI.

He married Georgette in June 1991 and moved to Glocester in January 1992.

Richard was an attorney for the office of the Rhode Island Public Defender for the majority of his career.

He was well-loved by his family, friends, and colleagues for his kindness, generosity, and dry humor.

Richard had many interests and hobbies, including collecting antiques and artwork and walking on the beach.

Besides his loving wife, he leaves one daughter, Simonne A.

Brousseau and her husband, Daniel A.

Gogue, of Falls Church, VA, and he was the father of the late Richard C.N.

Richard also leaves six siblings, Yvette St.

Pierre and her husband, Eugene, of Tomball, TX; Charles Brousseau and his wife, Paulette, of Narragansett; Denise Couture and her husband, Ronald, of Smithfield; Normand Brousseau and his wife, Elizabeth “Betty”, of Warwick; Estelle Bousquet and her husband, Ronald, of Chapel Hill, NC; and John Brousseau and his fiancée, Donna Costa, of Pawtucket; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

VISITATION will be at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Richard’s funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.

Cecilia Church of St.

John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
