Rene J. Samson

Samson, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2019.

He was the significant other to Vivian J.

Rondeau for thirty-two years.

Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Jules and Loretta (Senecal) Samson, he resided in Burrillville before moving to Lincoln six years ago.

Rene proudly served in the United Sates Air Force.

Rene was a plasterer with Samson’s Plastering, Pawtucket, for many years until retiring.

He enjoyed traveling and was a Friend of Bill W. for over thirty-five years.

Besides Vivian, he leaves his daughter, Donna Sylvia and her husband, Lee, of Rehoboth; two grandsons, Jacob D.

Sylvia both of Seekonk; a brother, Raymond Samson and his wife, Maureen, of Pawtucket; a sister, Doris Desorcy of South Carolina; Vivian’s children, Jo Ann Hillier and her husband, Kevin, of New Smyrna, Florida, Michael Soares of Lincoln and Denise McManaman and her husband, David, of Deland, Florida and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rene was the father of the late Rene J.

Samson and the brother of the late Ronald Samson and Connie Caron.

VISITATION will begin Monday, November 4th at 11 a.m. followed by Services at 1 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
