Rene Gingras

Attleboro – Rene Gingras, 86, of South Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Lois J. (Packer) Gingras for 59 years. Rene was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Royal Crown Cola and Cumberland Engineering as a truck driver, and most recently worked at the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles until retiring several years ago. He was a member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 5876, South Attleboro and St. Theresa Holy Name Society, where he received the Marion Medal Award. Rene enjoyed woodworking and spending time at the beach with his family and especially his grandchildren. Besides his loving wife, he leaves three daughters, Karen L. Landa and her husband, Pablo of Miramar, FL, Kathy L. D’Arrigo and her husband, David of Concord, MA and Judith A.
