Seekonk – Raymond E. Poncin, Sr., 79, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, February 26, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Angiolillo) Poncin for 56 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Clement P. and Freda (Heinrick) Poncin. Ray was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War Era and worked for many years as a designer and model maker in the lighting fixture and sheet metal industries. He was a New England Patriots fan and also enjoyed cooking, working in his yard and traveling north to Vermont to spend time in the mountains with his wife. Ray was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 311, Seekonk where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
