Raymond N. Emmott

Emmott, 81, formerly of Norton, MA and Pawtucket, RI passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late James W. and Rose A. (Bergeron) Emmott, he resided in Pawtucket until moving to Norton in August of 2007.

Ray was a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, he served in the United States Air Force for twenty years until retiring in October of 1967.

He then worked in the Signal Division of the Pawtucket Fire Department and later worked in the Jewelry Industry.

He received numerous citations while serving in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the former Eugene T.

Lefebvre VFW Post No. 1271, Central Falls.

He leaves a brother, Earl “Buster” O.

Emmott and his wife, Simonne of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late James Emmott, Doris Britland, William Emmott, Marie Bouley and Jeannette Renzi.

His funeral followed by interment with Military Honors at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private.
