Raymond C. Desmarais

Warwick – Raymond C. Desmarais, 61, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, January 20, 2012. Born in Providence, a son of the late Louis and Esther (Lapre) Desmarais, he resided in South Attleboro before moving to Warwick three years ago. Ray was a respiratory therapist, and enjoyed music and coin collecting. He leaves two brothers, Louis L. Desmarais and Richard O. Desmarais; a sister, Lorraine T. Lund; a niece, Lisa A. McCoy; three nephews, John M. Lund, Michael J. Lund and David J. Lund; three grandnephews, Owen McCoy, Luke McCoy and Connor Lund and a longtime friend, Daniel C. Fagan. A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation is omitted. Arrangements are with the Cheetham Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
