PAWTUCKET — Raymond C. Corvese, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24th, after a four-month illness. Raymond and his wife Marilyn (Moline) Corvese had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmine and Angela (Caruso) Corvese. A lifelong Pawtucket resident, Raymond was a successful small businessman, owning a variety of businesses in and near the city, including a successful ice cream shop, liquor store, auto repair facility, flower shop, and janitorial service. He continued servicing one final cleaning client right up until the onset of his illness last November. He was an avid car buff who also loved to landscape his yard himself, but nothing meant more to Raymond than his family. He adored his son and daughter and four grandchildren.
