Pawtucket – Ralph L. Fletcher, Jr., 67, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Ralph L., Sr. and Katherine (McGloin) Fletcher. Ralph graduated from Shea High School, (formerly Pawtucket West High School) in 1976. He then joined the U.S. Army and became an Armor Crewman, Specialist 4, earning a Distinguished M-551 Crew citation in 1977. He was transferred to Germany for two years and returned to Fort Knox, KY, leaving the Army in 1980. Ralph attended CCRI, studying IT and making the Dean’s list. He joined Sears Product Control where he held several positions in Logistics and Inventory Control. He later worked at Target in the Logistics and Stock department for about 20 years. Ralph has always been well read, specifically regarding history and science fiction. He spent a number of hours studying the World Wars, and in his youth, played war games with his friends.
