Ralph P. Armstrong

Armstrong, 83, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

He was the husband of the late Jean S. (Love) Armstrong.

Born in Milford, Massachusetts, a son of the late Ralph B. and E.

Frances (Parker) Armstrong, he resided in North Providence before moving to Rumford two years ago.

Ralph served in the United States Army.

He was a member and Deacon at Memorial Baptist Church, Seekonk; active member of AA and enjoyed volunteering thousands of hours at Saint Anne’s Hospital, Fall River.

Ralph leaves a daughter, Susan J.

Caron and her husband, Richard, of Seekonk; a son, David P.

Armstrong and his wife, Joanne, of South Kingstown; a sister, Gail Sheedy and her husband, Edward, of Warwick; three grandchildren, Stephanie Hipskind and her husband, Travis, Alexander Armstrong and Christina Armstrong; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Hipskind and soon to arrive, William Hipskind and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Ave., Seekonk.

Interment will follow at Rumford Cemetery, Rumford.

VISITATION will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
