Rachel K. Branca

Bristol – Rachel Kay (Bower) Branca, 85, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Robert T. Branca, Sr.

Born in Redding, CA, Rachel was the daughter of the late Edward and Clara (Phillips) Bower. She was a graduate of Pullman High School in Washington and Bryant College. Rachel honorably served in the United States Airforce and RI Air National Guard for over twenty-five years before her retiring as Master Sargeant of the 143rd Civil Engineer Squadron in Quonset Point. She also worked as an Accountant at Fram Automotive. Rachel’s strong faith-life served as a foundation and guiding force throughout her life. She was known for being extremely charitable and kind-hearted. Rachel loved music, singing, dancing, and nature. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind her beloved children; Lynn Fogarty (Mark) of Windermere, FL, Lee Wesolowski of Pawtucket, and Laura Lambert of Woonsocket, stepchildren; Robert Branca, Jr. and Patty White, grandchildren; Taylor Fore, Kirsten Fogarty, Kyle Wesolowski, Peyton Lambert, Emerson Lambert, and Grey Lambert, and great-grandchildren; Mara Fore, Callen Fore, and Alina Wesolowski.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Yvonne Hull and Clarence “Eddie” Bower, and her stepchildren; Donna Cipriano and Debbie Improta.

The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:00AM at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave. Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.

VISITATION will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
