Philip J. Piette, Pa-C

Philip Joseph Piette, PA-C, age 48 passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Boston); he was surrounded by his family. Philip was raised in Pawtucket, RI and was a 1994 graduate of Saint Raphael Academy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/ Animal Science from the University of Rhode Island in 1998. During his time at URI Phil gained experience working on the Lyme Disease Program in the Center for Vector-Borne Diseases. Phil continued his studies in health science by obtaining a Master of Science degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2002. He became licensed as a Physician Assistant in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island specializing in emergency medicine. Phil was a member of the Rhode Island Disaster Medical Assistance Team (RIDMAT) for over 20 years.
