Philip P. Dean

Dean, 93, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Friday, October 18, 2024.

He was the beloved husband of the late Claire B. (Fortin) Dean.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the only son of the late Henry F.

Dean and Katherine H. (Iwanicka) Dean-Brais.

Phil was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the DAV, VFW and the American Legion Post No. 20 in Attleboro.

He went on to a career as an auto mechanic at E.P.

Fournier in Pawtucket and at Quonset Point.

Phil most recently worked in maintenance for the Seekonk School Department for twelve years until retiring in 1995.

He leaves three children, Debra Silva Vincelette and her husband, Bob, Peter Dean and his wife, Rebecca, and Randy Dean; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two daughters-in-law: Leslie Dean and Lisa Dean.

He was the father of the late Gary Dean and James Dean.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are entrusted to William W.

Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
