Petrina A. Morris

Pawtucket – Petrina A. Morris, 51, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Cassidy. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Healy) Morris. Petrina graduated from Saint Raphael Academy in 1992 and was a lifelong resident of the city. She worked as a crossing guard for the City of Pawtucket for twenty years, most recently for Goff Middle School and St. Cecilia School. Petrina was the assistant middle school coach for the boys’ basketball team at St. Cecilia’s School and was a parishioner of the church. She loved to dance and take long rides through Slater Park, always clutching her Dunkin’ coffee with oat milk! Petrina’s greatest love was her family, especially spending time with her granddaughter while watching her favorite movie, The Lion King.
