Peter J. Soderlund

Providence – Peter J. Soderlund, 67, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Robin M. (Hallal) Soderlund for forty years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Carl, Sr. and Laura (Barlow) Soderlund. Peter would be best described as a Renaissance Man who was blessed with many talents. He was gifted with the craft of woodworking and could build anything with his own hands. Peter was an amazing cook and studied culinary at Johnson and Wales University. He was a talented baseball player and an avid golfer. Peter was a Babe Ruth certified umpire, and spent many days behind home plate at parks throughout the state. To call Peter smart would be an understatement – his intellect was Jeopardy worthy. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sharing laughs with everyone.
