Comerford, passed away on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.

Peter was the beloved husband of Shirley A. (Brimmer) Comerford for nearly twenty-five years.

Born in Providence, RI, Peter was a son of the late Henry C., Sr. and Isabel (McLean) Comerford.

Peter worked for many years as a union painter, at Local 1122.

Peter was a long-time member of the Trinity Brotherhood Club on Sutton Avenue in East Providence, RI, volunteering at the meat raffles for many years.

Peter enjoys fishing, visits to the casino and trying his best luck with scratch tickets.

Peter was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Peter will be missed by many and loved by all whose lives he has touched over the past sixty-seven years.

Peter leaves behind seven children, Lisa Sousa and her husband, Steve, of Cranston, RI, Dennis Jacobs and is wife, Lesley, of Attleboro, MA, Jessica Bardan of Riverside, RI, Peter J.

Comerford, Jr., of Foxboro, MA, Kyle Gyles of Providence, RI, Joshua Harper and his companion, Jesse Florent of East Providence, RI, and Rebecca Comerford of Pawtucket, RI; a brother, David Comerford and his wife, Diane.

As well as his two late brothers, George and Henry, Jr.

Nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are welcome for Calling Hours, held on Friday, October 11th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 11 a.m.
