Pedro F. Correia

Correia, 48, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 8, 2023.

He was the beloved husband of Kristen A. (Gamboa) Correia for twenty-two loving years.

Born in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, he was a son of Horacio Franco Correia and Maria Fatima (Oliveira) Correia of Portugal.

Pedro worked very hard and was extremely proud of becoming a United States citizen in 2006.

He had resided in Seekonk since 1998, and had previously resided in Pawtucket.

Pedro was the proud owner of Gemini Home Improvement, Seekonk.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing and the beach.

He enjoyed entertaining and helping others, but most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.

Pedro was a member of the Seekonk Lions Club and was recently awarded the prestigious Melvin Jones Award by Lions International.

He coached Seekonk Girls Softball and New England Impact Travel Softball for many years.

Besides his loving wife and his parents, he leaves four children, Brittny Correia, Mason Correia, Camron Correia and Austin Gamboa; his granddaughter, Eliana; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alfred and Patti Gamboa, all of Seekonk; many brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Seekonk Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Monday, September 11, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
