Pearl M. Johnson

March 10, 1934 — April 21, 2019

Pawtucket – Pearl M. (Langlois) Johnson, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019.

She was the beloved wife of the late Walter “Smokey” B.

Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Albert J., Sr. and Zada E. (Parker) Langlois.

Pearl worked as a photographer at Brown Studios and later worked for Schoolhouse Candy in Pawtucket, for many years.

Her passion, however, was caring for children as an in-home daycare service for over eighteen years.

In her free time, Pearl enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making beautiful draperies for her home as a talented seamstress.

She also enjoyed walking at the Emerald Square Mall, and shopping from home on QVC and the Home Shopping Network.

Pearl was a devoted and loving person, who will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all who’s lives she has touched over the past eighty-five years.

Pearl leaves a son, Anthony J.

Mace and his wife, Nora, of Portsmouth, RI; a grandson, Mark E.

Norberg and his wife, Jenn; two great-grandchildren, Krisann and Gavin Norberg all of Stafford, VA; a beloved daughter-in-law, Pamela M. (Bora) Johnson of Pawtucket and Theresa Carrington of Warwick, whom she loved as her own daughter.

Pearl also leaves and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She was the mother of the late Walter “Wally” B.

Johnson, Jr.; grandmother of the late Krisann Johnson, and the sister of the late Charlotte McNeil, Marie Simard and Albert J.

Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

VISITATION will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
