Pawtucket – Pearl “Auntie Pearl” R. (Horton) Dugas, 88, formerly of Carter Ave., passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund E. Dugas. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Herbert E. and Ruth M. (Newbury) Horton. Pearl was a receptionist at Hindley Manufacturing Company, Cumberland for thirty-nine years until retiring in 1986. She leaves a stepson, Edmond L. Dugas in California; nieces and nephews, Carol Furber, Candy Stewart, Robert Horton, Jr., Janice Beaudoin, Erica Jacobson and Derek Horton; grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Robert E. and Kenneth R. Horton. Visitation will begin Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Services at Noon in WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Holiday Activity Fund, 30 Sayles Hill Road, Manville, RI 02838 will be appreciated. TrippFuneralHome.com
