Pawtucket – Pauline “Polly” M. (Bachman) Callahan, 81, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Paul F. Callahan, Sr., for sixty years. Born in Seneca, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Mary E. (Brand) Bachman. Polly moved to Rhode Island when she got married and settled in Pawtucket to raise her family. She studied Business at the former Sawyer School, Pawtucket, and worked as an executive secretary at the former Trinkle Design, East Providence. Polly retired in 1990 from Hasbro, Pawtucket, to spend time with her grandchildren and help her children raise them. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, country music, Crime Drama television and was a very competitive game board player. Above all, Polly most enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
