Attleboro – Paul G. Turgeon, 57, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Born in Providence, he was a son of Aime G. Turgeon of Attleboro and the late Barbara M. (McGee) Turgeon. Paul was a 1978 graduate of Attleboro High School, where he was a member of the swim team and played the baritone horn in the band. He worked at Fuller Memorial Hospital, Attleboro for over 20 years until his retirement. Paul was one of the first members of the RI Special Olympics Swim Team in the 1960’s. He had participated in the Special Olympics for over 50 years earning several gold medals for swimming. Paul was inducted into the Special Olympics Hall of Fame and participated in the swimming competition at the International Games. He loved traveling, and especially enjoyed Disney World, Orlando, Florida, where he visited over 20 times. Paul spent many days of his retirement at Attleboro Enterprises, honing his day to day skills and making many great friends. Besides his loving dad, he leaves a beloved brother, Michael P....
