Lincoln – Paul D. Thomson, Jr., 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Tina M. (Casey) Thomson for twenty years. Born in Boston, Paul resided in Lincoln all of his life. He was the only son of the late Paul D., Sr. and Virginia L. (Wilson) Thomson. Paul graduated from Lincoln High School in 1980 and went on to work for the Town of Lincoln Highway Department for over twenty-seven years. He also served the town as a firefighter and EMT at the Lonsdale/Slatersville Station, a job which Paul loved very much and was very proud of. Paul had a strong passion for anything mechanical, from steam engines to stationary gas engines, diesel engines to internal combustion gasoline engines, Model T and Model A Fords, tractors, mechanical clocks and early phonographs.
