Paul J. Sroka

April 6, 1944 — March 8, 2022

Sroka, 77, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Cronin) Sroka, together they made their home in Seekonk for the past thirty-two years.

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Paul T. and Eileen M. (Leach) Sroka.

Paul was a graduate of Central Falls High School, Class of 1962 and went on to a career as a driver salesman for Cushman and Wonder Bread.

More recently he worked as the business agent for the Teamsters Union Local # 64 until his retirement.

Paul was a devoted and loving family man.

His children, Steven Sroka, Kendra Pires (Jason), and Leslie Hope (Carl Daddona) will always cherish their memories of him.

His granddaughters, Alyssa Sroka, Jessica Sroka (Daniel Buck), and Keira Pires along with his great-grandchildren, Hayleigh and Damien Russo will join the family in missing his “Dad Jokes” and entertaining ways.

He was always there for his family.

Paul was very proud of them, and loved to attend their sporting and school events, especially Keira’s soccer matches, Hayleigh’s dance, and Damien’s Tball.

He had a knack for games of any kind, particularly, card games, water volleyball and even the Wii.

Paul loved playing games with family and friends alike.

He also loved to travel and especially enjoyed family vacations.

Unfortunately, the recent pandemic hindered several planned family trips, the highlight of which was a special trip to Italy in 2020, where he and Patricia planned to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.

In lieu of the trip to Italy special trips to Florida and Mexico were a happy consolation.

In addition to his love of family and traveling, Paul always stayed active and kept busy.

He could fix or build just about anything.

He was known by his family and friends as “Mr.

Fix-it, Build-it and more”.

Paul was always more than willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Paul fought the good fight throughout his recent illness and was welcomed home by all his family, friends and beloved pets, Megan, Midnight, and Butterscotch.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends for years to come.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St.

Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford.

Interment at Seekonk Cemetery will follow.
