Paul J. Fernandes

Pawtucket – Paul J. Fernandes, 41, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, after a brief illness. Paul was born in Providence on Valentine’s Day in 1982, a son of the late Paul A. Fernandes, who passed away this past February. Paul resided with his aunt and uncle in North Carolina for fifteen years before moving back to Rhode Island several years ago. He very much enjoyed living in North Carolina and found great joy there, where he loved working, jet skiing on the lakes and cooking out with family and friends.    Paul was a talented concrete mason and was most happy while working with his hands and many masonry tools. He enjoyed fixing and building anything mechanical and being with his family.  Paul leaves a brother, Joshua Fernandes in Florida, two aunts and uncles, Claudia Marques and her husband, Lourenco, of Cumberland, and Suzana Correia and her husband, Antionio DaCosta, of Pawtucket; his grandmother, Maria Fernandes and cousins, Tiffany, Steven, Briana, and Kendra.  Committal Services will be...
