December 22, 1956 — January 17, 2016

Gaudette, 59, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, January 17, 2016.

He was the beloved husband of Jean M. (Mitchell) Gaudette for 21 years.

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Maurice and Rita (Boutin) Gaudette.

Paul had a passion for creating culinary dishes and took great pleasure in creating memorable dining experiences for others.

Over the years Paul was the proprietor of several area restaurants beginning with The Carousel in East Providence, The Union House Pub in Blackstone, Joseph’s in Rehoboth and presently The Hose Company No. 6 in Pawtucket.

Paul was the lead guitarist of both the Hometown Rockers and the Wild Turkey Band.

The band recently held a reunion performance at the Met in Pawtucket.

Aside from his love of creating epicurean delights and music, Paul loved to travel.

Along with his loving wife, Paul leaves a son, Alexander Mitchell and his wife, Christina of Mansfield; a grandson, Cayden Anderson; a sister, Elaine Ryan and her husband, John of Pawtucket and a brother, Gerard Gaudette and his wife, Pat of Lecanto, FL.

Paul also leaves many nieces and nephews including Matthew Gaudette, Dennis Ryan and Sarah Aliberti.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Mary Church, 14 Park St., North Attleboro, MA.

VISITATION will be on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907 will be appreciated.
