Paul A. Fernandes

Pawtucket – Paul A. Fernandes, 61, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he was the son of Maria (Luis) Fernandes of Pawtucket and the late Ernest Fernandes. Paul worked for many years in the area’s jewelry industry and was a voracious reader. He enjoyed collecting everything from baseball cards, to magazines, books, and newspapers. Paul was also an avid sports fan, and he enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and the Boston Bruins. He will be lovingly remembered as a quiet man who kept to himself and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Besides his loving mother, Paul leaves two sons, Paul J. Fernandes of Pawtucket, and Joshua Fernandes in Florida, two sisters, Claudia Marques and her husband, Lourenco, of Cumberland, and Suzana Correia and her husband Antonio DaCosta, of Pawtucket, and many nieces and nephews.
