Central Falls - Paul L. Charette, 78, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026. A Lifelong resident of Central Falls, he was a son of the late Norman A. and Madeleine M. (Chartier) Charette.
Paul was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and went on to a thirty-year career as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member and worker at the former Rehoboth Country Club. Paul also enjoyed playing cards and cribbage with friends on several of the area's cribbage leagues.
Above all, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Paul leaves two sons, Scott G. Charette and his wife, Alicia, of Attleboro, and Greg P. Charette and his wife, Tara, of Seekonk; a grandson, Jake P. Charette of Attleboro; four siblings, Jeanne Gardner and her husband, Jeff, in Little River South Carolina, Robert Charette and his wife, Jackie, of Exeter, Alan Charette of Warwick, and Mark Charette and his wife, Deb, in Longs South Carolina, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Thursday, February 12th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
