Paul F. Cavanaugh

Pawtucket – Paul F. Cavanaugh, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2023. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Vincent H. and Medora (Charland) Cavanaugh. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Paul proudly served his country during peacetime. He worked as a technician for the VA Hospital in Jamaica Plains, MA, until his retirement in 2020. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Association of Southern New England for nearly twenty years. Paul enjoyed woodworking, playing guitar and listening to jazz and classical music. He is survived by two sons, Sean P. Cavanaugh of Pawtucket and Matthew J. Cavanaugh of Colorado; three sisters, Ruth Crowley and her husband, James, of Albion, Helen Blount and her husband, Michael, of Alabama and Louise Cavanaugh of Pawtucket, and his beloved German Shepherd, Hogan. He was the brother of the late James V. Cavanaugh, a war hero who passed away in Vietnam. Interment in the family plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private. Memorial donations in his memory...
