Bandieri, 93, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of the late Constance “Connie” J. (Purcell) Bandieri.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Cesare and Celia (Giambastiani) Bandieri.
Army veteran of the Korean War and went on to a longtime career as a member of the Teamsters Local 251.
In his younger days, Paul was an avid golfer and a former member of the Cranston Country Club.
He was also a devoted New York Yankees fan, and will be remembered for many things, especially his quick wit, and perfectly timed jokes.
Paul will be missed, but lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past ninety-three years.
Paul leaves two daughters, Lynn M.
Bandieri of Pawtucket, and Gail A.
Giffney and her husband, Alan “Giff”, of Perth, Western Australia; two grandchildren, Tom Giffney, and Caitlin Giffney and her fiancé, Taylor Walsh all in Australia; a great-granddaughter, Samantha Walsh; a sister-in-law, Anita Bandieri of East Providence; beloved extended family and “third daughter”, Deborah “Toddi” A.
Mello and her husband, Greg Cox of Leavenworth, KS, and several nieces and nephews.
A special note of acknowledgment is extended to Paul’s niece, Carolyn Lawson, R.N.
Paul was the brother of the late Louis C. (Alda) Bandieri, Theresa (Raymond) Cecchini, Gino Bandieri, and Anita (Anthony) Oliver.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.
Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.
VISITATION will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
