Pawtucket - Patrick B. Sheehan, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen R. (Agnew) Sheehan for fifty-eight loving years. Born in Seattle, Washington, he was a son of the late Robert Sheehan and Ivola (White) Selis.
Patrick was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam era and went on to a career as a meat cutter and butcher for many years until retiring.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed both saltwater and freshwater fishing. Patrick was also an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past seventy-nine years.
Besides his loving wife, Patrick leaves two children, Brian Sheehan and his wife, Lynn, of Lincoln, and Kathi Mitchell and her longtime companion, Scott Demaine, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Sheehan and his wife, Alison, of Providence, Connor Sheehan of Lincoln and Michael Mitchell of Pawtucket, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael and Colleen Sheehan.
VISITATION will be held on Friday, July 3rd from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
