Pawtucket – Patricia L. (DeBlois) Larocque, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
She was the daughter of the late Donald D. and Shirley Y. (Bell) DeBlois, whom she cherished and loved dearly.
Patricia graduated from Tolman High School, Pawtucket, and was a lifelong resident of the city.
She worked in customer service and office management at Stop & Shop (in Pawtucket), where she was well loved, for almost thirty years prior to retiring.
Patricia truly enjoyed cooking and baking, and often showed her love for others through her culinary creations.
She was an avid reader and gifted writer.
Patricia’s life usually revolved around her family and friends, as she was extremely thoughtful and generous to others.
She particularly enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren (and “grandpets”, as she had a sincere love and compassion for animals).
She rescued and cared for several animals throughout her life, and continuously donated to several animal charities.
Her beautiful presence and loving nature will be missed by those she loved.
She is survived by three beloved daughters, Jennifer McKinnon and her husband, John, of Cumberland, Kristin Phelan and her husband, Rob, of Coventry, and Kimberly Field and her partner, Antonio, of Brooklyn, CT; four grandchildren, Casey, Emma and Aidan McKinnon and Chase Phelan; five siblings, Donald DeBlois, Jr., Debra DeBlois, David DeBlois, Judy Hurst, and Kathleen Bumpus (with whom she was especially close); her dear best friend, Lorraine Spinard of Pawtucket, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, beginning with visitation at 4:00 p.m. and concluding with Services at 7:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Hotel for Homeless Dogs, Berkeley Oval, 44 Martin Street, Cumberland, RI 02864 (or a donation to any other animal welfare organization) would be greatly appreciated.
