Patricia L. Gilbert

Patricia L. (O’Neil) Gilbert, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon G.

Born in Newport, she was a daughter of the late Raymond F. and Ruth S. (Sanford) O’Neil.

Pat had resided in Seekonk and Bristol before moving to Shrewsbury, MA, five years ago.

She was a very active member of Seekonk Congregational Church, where she had served as treasurer for many years.

Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves her children, Ruth Langwell and her husband, Dennis, Susie Gilbert, Peter Gilbert and his late wife, Sandra, Ellen Barth and her husband, David, Craig Gilbert and his wife, Rachael, and the late Eric Gilbert and his wife, Maureen Andrews; her sister, Sally Hudner and her husband, Phil; her grandchildren, Jenifer, Meghan, Zach (Caroline), Matthew (Madison), Kaitlin (Jeremy), Kelsey, Justin, Rachel, David, Connor, Jeffrey, TJ, Sam, Evan, Sarah, Abby and the late Will and her great-grandchildren, Gabe, Lola, Gabriella, Jack and Cece.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at noon at Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Ave., Seekonk.
