North Attleboro, MA – Patricia Ann (Cook) Davis, 67, beloved partner, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, surrounded by family.
For more than 30 years, Patricia made her home on Moosup Pond in Connecticut—a place she cherished deeply. It was her sanctuary, where she tended her gardens, fed her hummingbirds, and found joy in the quiet beauty of nature. It was also where her niece, nephews, family, and friends spent countless days swimming, kayaking, fishing, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Patricia spent most of her career as a legal secretary, where her sharp mind, steady presence, and genuine kindness made her a trusted colleague and a quiet force for good. During her years in the legal field, she formed lasting friendships, especially at Brigham & Kulig Law Office in Danielson, Connecticut, where she was deeply valued. Through her work and her way of being, she touched many lives—often in ways people will carry with them always.
In her earlier years, Patricia traveled widely and lived in many parts of the country, with Flagstaff, AZ holding a special place in her heart. When she returned to Rhode Island, she married Patrick M. Davis, a member of the Pawtucket-based band The Hometown Rockers. Together they shared 20 years filled with music, laughter, family, and friendship until Patrick’s passing.
Endlessly creative, Patricia expressed her talents through arts and crafts, cooking, music, and collecting antiques. Her needle-felted and wet-felted creations were true works of artistry. She loved the ocean and live music, and especially treasured time spent with her long-term partner, Ray Marganti—kayaking, attending concerts, and traveling to Florida, New Hampshire, and Cape Cod. Patricia had a wonderful sense of humor and took great pride in the fact that she never once colored her hair—a point she reminded us of often, always with a teasing smile. She was kind, beautiful inside and out, and she will be so greatly missed.
Born in Providence and raised in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Marguerite M. (Lynch) Cook-Powell. She was the cherished wife of the late Patrick M. Davis for 20 years.
Patricia is survived by her sister, Kathleen Donndelinger, and husband Paul of North Attleboro, MA; her loving partner, Raymond P. Marganti of West Greenwich; his daughter Brianna and granddaughter Anastasia; her devoted friend, Colleen Martin of Lincoln, RI; her niece Jodie Davey and husband Mark; her nephews Christopher Wunschel, Kevin Wunschel and his wife Emily, Liam Kelleher, and Matthew Kelleher; her nieces Jayme McBride and Jill Donovan; and her great-nephews and great-niece Bryce, Chase, Douglas, Fin, and Cecelia.
Alongside her husband, she is predeceased by her brother who adored her, William (Bill) F. Cook, Jr.
A Celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM concluding with a Service at 12:00PM at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave. Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation 5526 West 13400 South, #510 Herriman, Utah 84096.
