Patricia A. Coleman

Pawtucket – Patricia A. (Carney) Coleman, 87, formerly of Rehoboth, Cumberland, and Little River, SC, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of John M.

Together they would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary this September 23rd.

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Helen M. (Almond) Carney.

Patricia graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends.

She was a longtime communicant of St.

Teresa Church in Pawtucket and enjoyed bowling and traveling.

Besides her loving husband, Patricia leaves four children, Michael P.

Coleman and his wife, Elizabeth, of Swansea, John J.

Coleman of Pawtucket, Kristine H.

Carter and her husband, Peter, of Walpole, and Sally A.

Garrott and her husband, James, of Seekonk; eight grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Christopher, Jeremy, Kassandra, Matthew, Dylan, and Courtney; three siblings, Gerald Carney of Lincoln, Robert Carney of Pawtucket, John Carney of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late James Carney, William Carney and Helen McIntosh.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
