Patricia G. (Grimes) Atamian, a resident of Pawtucket and a winter resident of Hallandale Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born in Central Falls on Sunday, September 20, 1942, Patricia was the loving daughter of the late John F., Sr. and Florence L. (Fanning) Grimes.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephan Atamian Sr., her sister, Mary Sienko, and her brother, John Grimes.
Patricia was a devoted mother and is survived by her loving children, Suzanne Medeiros and her husband, Paul, of South Attleboro, Christine Bairos and her husband, Joseph, of Lincoln, and Stephan Atamian, Jr. and his wife, Gail, of Pawtucket and Port St.
Lucie, Florida; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends who were touched by her kindness and vibrant spirit over the past eighty-two years.
Patricia was the proprietor and the proud owner of Stephan's His & Her's Salon in Pawtucket, RI, Patricia dedicated many years to serving her community with grace and warmth.
Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her business, as she faithfully taught CCD, served as a lector, and lent her beautiful voice to the church choir at the former Sacred Heart Parish in Pawtucket.
Patricia enjoyed a rich life filled with adventure and connection.
She enjoyed playing golf, traveling overseas with her late husband and collecting memories from far-off places.
At home, Patricia found joy in cooking and dining out, surrounded by the laughter of her family and friends.
Patricia was also a former member of the Providence Figure Skating Club, where she glided gracefully across the ice.
Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her enduring spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
As we say goodbye, we hold on to the cherished memories and the lasting impact she made on our lives.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 18th at 10 a.m. from the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St.
Teresa Church 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment at the RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter will be private.
VISITATION will be held on Monday, February 17th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
