She was the beloved wife of the late Paul H.

Born in Normandy, France, she was the daughter of the late Augustine and Marie Marguerie.

Odette was raised on farmland in Normandy during the height of the World War II Era.

She emigrated to the United States in 1945 and settled in Pawtucket where she got married and raised her family.

Odette worked at American Insulated Wire in Pawtucket for over forty years before retiring in 1992.

She was a faithful parishioner of St.

Cecilia Church and enjoyed walking around the city in which she made her home.

Odette always looked forward to dining out with her family and spending time with her loved ones, especially the love of her life, her grandson, who would always bring her coffee and french fries from McDonald’s.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lorraine Sorel of Pawtucket and her better half, Joe Sousa, of East Providence; her beloved grandson, Paul J.

Sorel and his better half, Tanya “Sonia” Cooper, both of Pawtucket and an estranged daughter, Marie Gallagher of North Kingstown.

She was the mommy of her beloved rescued feline, the late Pa-Pete.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private.

Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.

Memorial donations to Seekonk Animal Shelter, 100 Peck St., Seekonk, MA 02771 or to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
