Novalinda C. Soares

Novalinda C. (Rodrigues) Soares, 85, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was a loyal, hard worker at Texas Instruments of Massachusetts for 25 years until retirement. Born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Alberto Medeiros Rodrigues and Virginia (Carreiro) Rodrigues. Novalinda immigrated to the United States in 1966.

She leaves five children, two daughters and three sons, Dina M. (Soares) Avedisian of Warwick, Mario J. Soares of Texas, Ana-Paula (Soares) LeBlanc of Florida, Charles M. Soares of Cumberland and Norman E. Soares of North Providence; a sister, Virginia Rodrigues Carneiro of East Providence; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Amelia C. R. De Lima of Central Falls, Deodato C. Rodrigues of Central Falls, Jose C. Rodrigues of New York, and Viriato C. Rodrigues.

VISITATION will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket.
