Normand J. Thibeault

Central Falls - Normand J.

Thibeault, 100, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 21st, 2025, He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline B. (Desroches) Thibeault.

A lifelong resident of Central Falls, he was the son of the late Wilfred Thibeault and Blanche (Riendeau) Corbi.

Normand was a World War II U.S.

Army Air Corps veteran and a Prisoner of War for seventeen months.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He dedicated over 24 years of his life to serving and protecting his community as a Police Officer with the Central Falls Police Department, retiring as a Lieutenant in the Detective Division.

His commitment to justice and public service left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Normand was an avid golfer who found joy on the greens and cherished the time spent playing cards with family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Paulette Baxendale and her late husband, Len; his granddaughters, Meridith T.

Perry and her husband, Marc, and Stephanie T.

Baxendale; four great-grandchildren, Corinne, Camille, Josie and Beckett, several nieces and nephews and his family of neighbors.

He was the brother of the late Donald Thibeault, Roland Thibeault, Robert Thibeault and Geraldine Wheeler and is survived by one sister, Eileen Moran.

Services will be private.
